Hire Rates

With effect from 1st June 2026

Bookings will be charged at a minimum of two hours, and thereafter in half hour periods.
Maximum attendees 200 at any event.

Regular hirers have a reduced rate of £14.50 an hour for the hall and £10 an hour for the committee room

Hourly rate for general use £18 an hour hall only £28 for hall and Committee room

£30 or £50 one off payment for use of the kitchen depending on use.

Childrens parties 4 hourly block. Use of hall, committee room and kitchen £75

Special rates for longer use of the whole Hall:

Use of Hall all day 8.30 until 23.45 use of hall and committee room £600

Use of Hall for Wedding Friday 12 noon to 10pm Saturday all day until 23.45 and Sunday 8.30 until noon £900

This charge includes full use of the hall and committee room and stage. There is an extra charge for the kitchen depending on use. This is £30 for general use and £50 for use of ovens.

Please note: the hall has a Licence for Public Use only from 08:00 to 23:45 daily (22:30 on Sundays) – if you require the event to last longer, then an application must be made to extend this time to South Hams District Council (SHDC) at least two weeks before the event, and licence displayed at the event.
If you wish to sell alcohol then a Temporary Event Licence will be required – details available as above from SHDC at a cost of £21 per event.

Children's:£75 mornings or afternoons

These prices include full use of the kitchen

All Village Organisations have the opportunity of using the hall facilities for one fund-raising event a year for £40.00

The Car Park may be booked separately only if not required by a previous hall booking, and if a fee is made for this i.e. use for Car Boot Sale, the charge will be £80.00 per day for Parish Residents and £100.00 per day for Others. Separate insurance will also be required.
