Sparkwell Parish Hall

Welcome to Sparkwell Parish Hall!

Sparkwell Parish Hall is an attractive modern building with superb facilities, including a full featured theatre/stage with tiered seating.
The hall can accommodate 180 seated / 120 seated at table (250 max at any one time).  There is also an adjoining committee room that can be hired separately for smaller functions.
Next to the hall is a newly upgraded children’s playground, ample parking and public access to beautiful woodland.

The Village – Sparkwell is a thriving village, situated on the fringes of the Dartmoor National Park.  The name Sparkwell, is thought to have come from the sparkling spring waters that bubbled up from historical wells.
There are a number of places to stay in the village, including B&Bs and the hotel Welbeck Manor, which was originally built and occupied by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
There’s plenty to do in and around Sparkwell.  Sparkwell is home to Dartmoor Zoological Park, famously documented in Benjamin Mee’s book and later the Hollywood movie ‘We Bought A Zoo’.
Welbeck Manor has a 9 hole golf course, there’s horse riding at Fitzworthy Equestrian Centre and fun to be had at Delta Force Paintball!
The village also boasts an award winning gastro pub, The Treby Arms, opposite the hall.
